Dr. Stanworth grew up in Utah. He received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from BYU-Hawaii, where he met his wife, a native Houstonian. While in college, he enjoyed sculpting, ceramics, and the medical sciences, which led him into a field that combined them: dentistry. He obediently followed his wife back to Texas and earned his DDS from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston.

Dr. Stanworth is focused on family dentistry and cosmetic dental treatments, and has had extensive postgraduate training in cosmetics and implants. He actively seeks continuing education opportunities to provide patients with quality, state-of-the-art treatment. Dr. Stanworth has been married for 12 years, currently lives in The Woodlands, and has four children. He enjoys mountain biking, surfing, snow skiing, hiking, going to church, and most of all, playing with his kids.

Dr. Lora Moore received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Texas A&M University and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry (formerly Baylor College of Dentistry), where she graduated at the top of her class with high honors. Dr. Moore has a passion for dentistry and a strong commitment to providing the best care possible to each one of her patients. She prides herself on providing friendly, efficient, and timely dental care and wants every patient to feel well cared for and comfortable. Dr. Moore actively works with patients to understand their goals and customizes treatment plans that best improve their oral health.

Dr. Moore’s specialties include dental crowns and bridges, fillings, tooth extractions, root canals, dentures, and pediatric dentistry. She is also certified in administering nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation dentistry techniques, which can aid patients that experience dental anxiety. Dr. Moore believes in the importance of being proficient in the latest techniques and technologies. She regularly attends advanced dental seminars and courses with an aim at providing the best, most current treatment options.

In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, friends, family, and her dog, Timmi. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, exploring the new restaurants in town, making handmade soaps, learning spanish, crafting, and yoga.

Orthodontist in the Woodlands, TX

Raised in a career Air Force family, Dr. David Holsey has lived across the US and in several foreign countries. A graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Holsey served two years as a captain in the USAF before starting a private practice in the Spring and Woodlands area of Texas. As one of the first orthodontists to use the Invisalign® technique, he has consulted on over two thousand cases worldwide and taught Invisalign’s certification course, teaching other dentists how to use the clear aligner system effectively. He is also an experienced provider of other orthodontic techniques, including traditional braces. Serving patients of all ages, he counts caring for his patients and creating beautiful smiles as a calling for which he is humbled and grateful.

Professional Pursuits

Dr. Eric Scott is excited to be joining the talented team at Signature Smiles, bringing more than 27 years of orthodontic experience to the practice. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in the Houston Medical Center and has been enhancing smiles throughout The Woodlands and Greater Houston area ever since. Dr. Scott is known for his precise clinical approach, his commitment to patient comfort, and his genuine passion for helping people feel confident in their smiles.

Personal Life

Outside the office, Dr. Scott enjoys hiking in the mountains and spending time on the water with his wife and adult children—recharging in the places that inspire him most.
